Car Tuning
Ferrari’s Tailor Made division has produced a very special example of the Roma sedan to advertise the individualization options offered by the company. It will stay in the Ferrari Museum until February; what will happen next is unannounced.
The car wears an exclusive shade of gold called Ora Mida along with intricate laser engravings on some of the panels. It looks like this is the first time Ferrari used high-precision laser engraving technology on the bodywork. There is a compass dial adorning the hood along with the geographic coordinates of the automaker’s Maranello HQ.
Reprocessed materials are generously used throughout. Even the engine runs on components derived from aluminum waste. The center console is trimmed with recycled sand originally used in the company’s foundry facility. Ferrari doesn’t explain which specific trim bits are recycled, though. The seats come wrapped in luxury-grade leather stitched with thread obtained from old tires. Natural wood lines the floor and the kick plates.
The one-off car comes bundled with a unique Montblanc Meisterstück fountain pen matched to the color of the exterior. It features a platinum coating and a hand-made golden head. A travel notebook is included, too.
