The automotive giant has backpedaled on another EV launch in North America following an unimpressive year for personal electric transports.
Toyota had planned to introduce a battery-powered seven-seater SUV in the United States in 2025. The production had been scheduled at a factory in Kentucky. These plans have now been pushed back to 2026.
