Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider gets Novitec treatment

Luxury vehicle tuner Novitec introduced its expansive customization program for the Ferrari 12Cilindri coupe a few months ago, and here comes the Spider version.

The goal this time around was to further enhance the aerodynamic performance of the open-top supercar while keeping its exterior reasonably close to stock. To achieve this, Novitec came up with a rather modest-looking front splitter, air intake and side gill trims, revised side skirts, a rear diffuser and a lip spoiler. A pair of low-drag side mirror covers rounded off the look. Needless to mention, everything here is fabricated from carbon fiber.

For the wheels, the company suggests installing its own NF12 forged set measuring 21 inches across at the front end and 22 at the rear. The five-Y-spoke rims are made by Vossen in the United States and sit perfectly centered in their arches thanks to a 30mm (1.2”) reduction in ride height.

Customers willing to take their personalization further are invited to consider a full interior makeover using deluxe leather, Alcantara and more carbon fiber. As usual, the images and the videos above only preview one of the possibilities.

As for the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12, it stayed stock this time around. This isn’t necessarily bad news on a Ferrari, because 830 PS (819 hp / 610 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque should be plenty for even the most demanding drivers. If you feel like something’s missing, Novitec has you covered with an active-valve exhaust system available in stainless steel and heat-resistant Inconel alloy variants.
