Kia Tasman passes all desert trials
Kia unveiled its next body-on-frame pickup truck, the Tasman, in July this year. The company has now reported wrapping up all pre-production tests in a desert environment.
The choice of the location is far from coincidental, because the Tasman will first debut at a car expo in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on October 29 –November 2.
In total, the company says it had subjected the truck to 1,777 different test scenarios composed of more than 18,000 individual tests.
