The unique Ford concept car known as the Ghia Probe caught on fire while being transported by trailer and was completely destroyed, reports Scott Grundfor Company (the owner).
The 45-year-old vehicle took part in the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance last week. It was originally built by Italian coachbuilder Ghia based on a Mustang platform. It had an impressively low-drag body design and a 2.3-liter turbo engine.
Judging by the photo of the aftermath, bringing the Ghia Probe back to life might be too much to ask for.
