Mahindra gives the Scorpio-N a mild refresh in India

The goodies of the 2027 Mahindra Scorpio-N are only obtainable at a premium trim level, while the base off-roader stays completely unchanged heading into the next year.

On the outside, the new Scorpio-N can be recognized by its 18-inch wheels replacing the old 17-inch rollers. Inside, the infotainment screen grows up from 8 to 12.3 inches of diagonal size and rises above the dashboard, displacing the air vents to sit directly below it. The 7-inch digital dashboard makes room for a more practical 10.25-inch display. The sun hatch becomes a proper panoramic hatch, and the front/rear camera duo evolves into a full-fledged 360-degree camera system.

On the technical side of things, the Mahindra Scorpio-N remains a capable and affordable body-on-frame off-roader. It can be specced with either a 2.0T petrol engine rated at 203 PS (200 hp / 148 kW) or a 2.2-liter turbo diesel obtainable in 132-PS (130-hp / 97-kW) and 175-PS (173-hp / 129-kW) boost variants. The range-topping 175-PS version can be optioned with all-wheel drive, while the other two go RWD only. The transmission can be six-speed manual or six-speed auto.

Prices in India start from 1,779,000 Rupees, or U.S. $18,662.
